Child safety
The Scout Association has strict child safety rules in place.
All adult members of the Spartans Explorer Scout Group, including leaders, assistant leaders, have extended DBS checks carried out before they are allowed to join us.
Leaders are also interviewed by the Axe District Scout Association before they can begin training for their warrant.
No adult is ever allowed to be on their own with an Explorer,
Our own fully stocked first aid kit is always available, we have several leaders/assistant leaders who hold first aid certificates, one of them is always present. If we take the Explorers out of the hall our first aid kit goes too.
